Learn the tasks you will actually use
Training can focus on your own site and the people looking after it. Walk through updating a page, changing an event, replacing a photograph, checking a link or managing another agreed task.
There is no need to begin with a broad technical course. We can work through practical examples and leave guidance that fits the way your group operates.
Bring a new organiser up to speed
Committee changes and volunteer handovers are part of community life. A focused session can help a new person understand the site's structure, update process and responsibilities without having to reconstruct everything from old messages.
Get help with a change
You may need a new page, a revised introduction, different photographs or a better way to explain an activity. We can help with content and presentation as well as questions about using the site.
A larger change can be scoped as a separate piece of work. Smaller questions can be discussed through the available support arrangements.
Non-SLA support
Our support is provided on a non-SLA basis: there is no guaranteed response or resolution time. We agree the work and any charges with you. This is practical follow-on help, not a time-critical incident service.
Advice for the wider picture
Sometimes the problem is not a missing button. It is an unclear responsibility, an outdated public description or several people using different versions of the same information. A review can help you simplify the process around the website as well as the pages themselves.
For productivity tools, licensing and broader organisational technology training, charIT provides a separate service workstream. We can help identify where your request belongs.
Tell us what you need to do
Describe the change or question in plain language. A link to the relevant page and an explanation of the intended result are a useful starting point. Keep passwords and private member information out of the enquiry.
